Course Content:
The Process Safety Revisited E-learning Course includes modules on the following topics:
- Asset Integrity: Scenario where wall thinning is observed on in a steam header and the organisation needs to respond based on risk.
- Operational Risk Assessments: Scenario on responding to an impaired instrumented controls through the application of an operational risk assessment.
- Management of Change (MoC): Scenario on applying an MoC process to a plant change amid “can-do” environment where all ideas are implemented now.
- Job Safety Analysis (JSA): Often used within Permit systems, this scenario presents a poor JSA that has led to some unforeseen hazards on the job during a tank cleaning operation.
- Incident Investigations: Scenario associated with a pump seal failure that could lead to a flammable vapour cloud.
These modules are designed to prompt you to stop and think about what could happen within your organisation and give you insight to how to move forward.
