To “turn the dial” on process safety performance, the full organisation needs to develop competence. We are seeing larger organisations have a preference to teach the introduction topics via e-learning and the more advanced topics in a face-to-face format.

One option to implement this model is by implementing an in-house e-learning solution. This means that the content is hosted on the company’s internal learning management system (LMS). This enables scheduling and monitoring of various types of training under one roof.

Read about why E-Learning can help you more rapidly develop competence in your organisation.

The costs of developing effective training are not small. A single 1-day course can cost up to 1000 hours of effort to develop the content, assessments, and infrastructure. Safety Solutions has been engaged by a number of organisations to embed the Introduction to Process Safety e-learning course into their LMS.

There are 2 implementation models:

  1. Port Safety Solutions e-learning courses to end user LMS. As our training courses are SCORM compliant, this is a relatively simple task. Pricing is based on the organisation size and the internal use model.
  2. Modify Safety Solutions e-learning courses to incorporate the end-user language and systems. Pricing can be perpetual or annual.

Both of the above models facilitate unlimited and monitored process safety training within the business. Training costs (per person) can be reduced by up to 75% with this type of deployment. We have deployed customised e-learning into a number of organisations.  Please contact us if you would like to discuss how this can be done
